DSC Manila Branch Successfully Conducts General Assembly | MANILA G.A 2026

The Dalisay Seafarers and Allottees Association (DSAA) successfully held its Manila Branch General Assembly at the Enterprise Center in Makati City, with a total of 68 participants composed of 45 face-to-face attendees and 23 joining via Zoom. The hybrid format enabled broader participation, ensuring that members remained informed and connected regardless of location.

The program began with registration, followed by an opening segment that welcomed participants and outlined the objectives of the assembly. This was immediately followed by a health awareness discussion that emphasized the importance of maintaining overall well-being, particularly in the context of the maritime profession.

A comprehensive company update followed, covering key areas such as career progression, facility developments, digital engagement platforms, and corporate social responsibility initiatives. Financial awareness was also highlighted, providing practical insights to help members better manage their finances and prepare for future needs.

The program continued with a discussion on healthcare services and support systems available to seafarers, ensuring that attendees gained a clear understanding of the benefits and assistance they can access. This was followed by a Family Day planning session, where upcoming activities were introduced and members were encouraged to actively participate and strengthen connections within the community.

A significant part of the assembly was the introduction of the newly appointed association president, marking a transition in leadership and reinforcing the organization’s continued commitment to serving its members.
