The DSC Iloilo Branch successfully conducted its General Assembly at Sams21 Hotel, Iloilo, gathering a total of 61 participants composed of 37 onsite attendees and 24 participants via Zoom. The event served as a platform to reconnect with crew members and allottees while providing important updates and services.
The program commenced at 10:15 AM with an opening segment, followed by a health awareness discussion that highlighted the importance of preventive care, proper health management, and overall well-being. The session aimed to equip participants with knowledge essential for maintaining a healthy lifestyle both at sea and on land.
This was followed by a detailed company update, covering various topics including career advancement opportunities, internal developments, official communication platforms, and corporate initiatives. The discussion also emphasized the importance of staying informed and actively engaged with company programs.
An informative segment on healthcare services and insurance was then presented, focusing on available support systems and benefits designed to assist seafarers and their families.
