The General Assembly of the Dalisay Cebu Branch was successfully conducted on February 6, 2026, bringing together members and stakeholders for an informative and engaging session. The program officially commenced at 10:00 AM, with a total of 34 attendees present onsite and 14 participants joining via Zoom, reflecting active participation through a hybrid setup.
The program began with an opening segment that set the tone for the assembly, followed by a comprehensive health and wellness discussion. This session emphasized the importance of maintaining physical fitness, mental resilience, and overall well-being—especially relevant to seafarers and their families. Participants were provided with practical guidance and insights to help them manage health-related concerns both onboard and at home.
This was followed by a series of company updates, where key developments, ongoing initiatives, and organizational priorities were presented. The discussion provided attendees with a clearer understanding of current programs, opportunities for growth, and updates that directly impact their professional and personal lives. The session also encouraged awareness and engagement with the company’s direction and future plans.
The program continued with an informative discussion on insurance and related benefits, focusing on coverage, claims processes, and the importance of being well-informed about available support systems. This segment aimed to strengthen members’ understanding of their entitlements and ensure they are better prepared in times of need.
A key highlight of the assembly was the election of new officers for the Dalisay Seafarers Allottees Association (DSAA). The election process was conducted smoothly, resulting in the selection of new leaders who will continue to represent and support the interests of seafarers’ families within the organization.
The successful conduct of the Cebu Branch General Assembly reflects the organization’s continued commitment to keeping its members informed, engaged, and supported through collaborative initiatives and meaningful discussions.
