Bohol, February 18, 2025 – The much-awaited Cadetship Selection 2025 took place at CRISTAL-E in Bohol, where promising candidates from both the Deck and Engine departments gathered for a rigorous selection process. The event saw participation from 40 cadets – 20 in the Deck category and 20 in the Engine category. The cadets underwent a series of assessments and interviews aimed at identifying the most qualified individuals for the prestigious cadetship program. The day began with an Orientation at 0800H, where the candidates were briefed on the schedule and expectations for the day. The first wave of assessments, including the APRO &CES Examination for Deck cadets, kicked off at 0830H, while the Engine cadets faced the Technical and Psychological Assessment Interviews at the same time. In the afternoon, the examinations shifted gears, with the Engine cadets taking their APRO & CES Examination at 1300H, while the Deck cadets underwent their Technical and Psychological Assessment Interviews. Among the notable delegates at the event were Capt. Eduardo M. Limpin, DSC President, Mr. Rowell Beluso, DSC Senior Manager, and DSC staff. The event also welcomed past cadetship participants of ’06,’09,’11, and others who have made significant strides in their careers since completing the cadetship program.
