CEBU, Philippines – February 20, 2025 – The University of Cebu hosted the much-anticipated Cadetship Selection Program today, where future cadets had the opportunity to undergo a series of rigorous assessments. The event, which gathered a host of maritime professionals, was designed to select the next batch of cadets who will embark on a promising career in the maritime industry. A total of 38 participant took part in the selection process. 18 19cadets from Deck Department and 19 form Engine Department. The program began promptly at 8:00 AM with an orientation session, followed by the (APRO) & (CES) examinations, which took place for both Deck and Engine categories. At 8:30 AM, candidates for the Deck positions tackled their exams, while the Engine candidates participated in their own technical and psychological assessments. The afternoon sessions began at1:00 PM, with both categories continuing their respective examinations and interviews.
